I think these internet sites like google, wikipedia, etc, are making students lazier and less likely to read a book. Rather, students go on spark notes and e-books to get summaries of books instead of actually reading the book and getting their own understanding. I think it is important to read and write to express your own opinion instead of reading someone else's opinion and basing your thesis or ideas off of theirs. These sites have put in depth summaries of articles and books online that make students and other people feel it is unnecessary to even buy the book anymore.
